Facebook Chat now supports Jabber (XMPP)
This means you can now add your Facebook Chat to iChat, Adium, Pidgin, and any other desktop IM applications that support Jabber, by following these instructions.
And because we all have people on Facebook we don’t really want to talk to, you can select which friend lists can see you in chat, so just add those people to a list and then remove that list from Chat from the website.
